South Shore Select is a year-round soccer school, which fosters a competitive, supportive, and positive environment for young girls and boys. Select is a family-run organization with a mission to develop strong and confident people through sport. We strive to make each player a better individual off the field as well by teaching them about a sense of community and social responsibility
The South Shore Sports Center is home to the South Shore Select Soccer Club. With turf fields, basketball/futsal court, and more, we have been a hub for South Shore recreation for more than 30 years. In addition, we feature a lounge with a full-service bar which is a popular locale for birthdays and private events. The facility offers sports programs for girls and boys from ages two through college, including youth leagues, camps, and clinics for soccer, basketball, flag football, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, Kids World, and more. The fun is not just for kids, as we also offer adult soccer and basketball leagues as well as private rentals for individual groups and fundraisers.

Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and organized Marketing Associate or Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in promoting our brand and values across various platforms.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the South Shore Select and South Shore Sports Center website.
- Collaborate with our team to create high-quality digital content, including website content, videos, and infographics.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including designing emails, building contact lists, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Analyzing digital marketing data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform future strategies.
Printed Visual Assets:
- Design and produce printed marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers and graphic designers, to ensure quality and timely production.
- Ensure that all printed materials are consistent with our branding and messaging guidelines.
- Manage inventory of printed materials and distribute them to appropriate teams or external partners.
- Assist in the development and execution of direct mail campaigns.
Social Media Marketing:
- Assist with managing our social media profiles and presence on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms.
- Create and schedule regular, engaging content for all social media channels, including posts, stories, and live updates.
- Engage with followers, respond to queries, and monitor customer reviews.
- Implement social media advertising campaigns and track their effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and technologies, and applying this knowledge to improve social media presence.
General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Assist in organizing and executing marketing events.
- Preparing regular reports on marketing campaign performance and providing insights for improvement.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or related experience
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Familiarity with CMS tools (ie - WordPress), Email marketing tools (ie - Constant Contact), and design tools (ie - Canva).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (ie- Hubspot)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for sports, particularly soccer, is a plus.
