South Shore Social Beach Club is looking for seasonal Assistant Manager to join our team. Located at the South Shore Cultural Center Beach House, 7059 S. South Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60649.
South Shore Social Beach Club is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Our ideal candidate characteristics include attention to details, punctual, and a multi-tasker.
Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
- Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
- Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
- Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
- Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
- Ensure proper cash handling
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place in partnership with Management Team
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
- Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Serv Safe Certified
- BASSET Certification
