POSITION SUMMARY:
The Attendant – Play Room is responsible for the safety, entertainment, health and well being of the children in the playroom. They will attend to the cleanliness of the toys and playroom equipment, as well as follow all safety and check in policies and procedures of the South Shore YMCA.
Reports to: Director, Youth and Family

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Child Care Background preferred but not required
- Must be motivated, upbeat and dedicated to creating a safe, engaging and fun environment for the children and families we service.
- Position requires the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time; the ability to bend, stoop or sit on the ground for long periods of time as well as the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
