JOB SUMMARY :
South Side Healthy Community Organization (SSHCO) is comprised of 13 healthcare organizations - safety net hospitals, health systems and Federally Qualified Health Centers - on the South Side of Chicago. Supported by generous state funding, the SSHCO aims to build a healthcare system that will prioritize community needs, intervene earlier and respond better. Our model, driven by community input, will better connect existing health organizations, increase access to care, address some of the most challenging health issues we face, and ultimately, build health equity and ensure stronger, healthier communities across the South Side of Chicago.
As an integral part of the SSHCO administrative team, the Program Manager facilitates and supports several strategic and operational programs across SSHCO in coalescence with the mission and values of SSHCO. The Program Manager is responsible for developing plans, tracking deliverables and managing stakeholders for assigned programs, projects, and committees.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

- Serves as secretary for the Community Advisory Council (CAC) also provides backup administrative assistance for the Board of Directors (BOD) and other committees as assigned. Responsible for taking attendance at committee meetings as well as preparing and maintaining the agenda, board packet / materials and minutes.
- Responsible for all phases of multiple assigned programs, assigning individual responsibilities, coordinating activities of program team(s), identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Schedules and conducts program meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to timelines, reviews program deliverables, generates reports for SSHCO leadership and external partners as appropriate.
- Uses critical thinking to guide program teams, and leadership as appropriate, to solutions and next steps.
- In consultation with the SSHCO leadership, effectively communicates issues and supports risk mitigation through navigating complex stakeholder management scenarios.
- Performs other duties as requested by senior management.
