Resident Treatment Facility Janitorial Position

South Sound Janitorial is a small business cleaning company providing professional cleaning services to many types of businesses in the Pierce, Thurston and King County area. Our overall goal is to provide our clients with the utmost detailed cleaning service we can offer. This starts with the people we hire to join our team.

South Sound Janitorial is currently contracted with a residential treatment facility that requires us to have staff onsite 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This does include ALL holidays.

This location is a resident treatment facility, often referred to as a residential treatment center (RTC), is a live-in healthcare facility providing therapy for mental illness, or other behavioral problems. This center is designed to offer a structured and supportive environment where individuals can focus on their recovery away from the stressors and triggers of their daily lives.

We are looking for understanding, adaptable, and passionate individuals to join our team to help keep this facility in tip top shape.

Cleaning duties include but not limited to

-Dusting

-Sanitizing

-Trash/recycling removal

-Restroom cleaning

-Vacuuming

-Mopping

-Deep cleaning

-Window cleaning

We have created easy to follow checklists to complete your shifts. Easy to follow process to complete each cleaning task. Everything has been created for constancy and ease.

South Sound Janitorial will provide you with all cleaning equipment and supplies needed to complete each shift.

Benefits to working at South Sound Janitorial

-Pay $21 - $25 per hour, Regular vs. Supervisor

-Paid vacation after 1 year

-Part-time position: 10 am - 7 pm Saturday and Sunday, a few half shifts (either 10 am to 2 pm or 3 pm to 7 pm) during the week. This will be about 20 to 25 hours per week.

-Full-time position: 10 am - 7 pm, including weekends. This is a 5 days per week position with the 5th day being either a 10 to 2 or 3 to 7 shift. This will be about 35 hours per week.

-No experience necessary, we will train you!

-Hiring immediately for this position

Non-negotiable requirements – Must meet these 3 requirements in order to be considered for the position.

• Must have a clean criminal record, NO EXCEPTIONS;
• Must be 21 years of age; and
• Must have a cell phone (we use an app software for time tracking, account information, and scheduling).
