Summer Day Camp Counselor/Day Camp Counselor Assistant
LEAD THE FUN, SPARK THE ADVENTURE!
Are you ready to lead, inspire, and create unforgettable memories this summer? We’re looking for energetic, fun-loving, and amazing individuals to be Day Camp Counselors! Get ready to inspire and lead groups of 12-15 children, ages 6-12, in fun and dynamic activities like group games, sports, STEM projects, cooking and more! If you have a passion for working with kids and creating unforgettable experiences alongside a passionate and enthusiastic team, then this job is for YOU!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Supervise and lead groups of 12-15 children through program activities, with the direction of the Camp Director/Assistant Camp Director.

Share your interests and hobbies to support fun and engaging programming that is consistent with YMCA values.

Team building and bonding with your fellow Day Camp Counselors.
WHO YOU ARE:
-
Day Camp Counselor - Must be at least 18 years or older.

Day Camp Counselor Assistant - Must be at least 16 years or 17 years of age.

Passionate about engaging with children and families, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and fun environment for everyone!

Responsible, dependable, and committed to maintaining safety and well-being.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with youth programs, leadership roles, or outdoor activities (preferred but not required).

Have reliable transportation to get to work.

Able and willing to complete all required training upon hiring.

Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.
