WHERE FUN MEETS LEADERSHIP!
Are you ready for a summer full of fun, energy, and making a difference? Take initiative and support an incredible team as a Summer Day Camp Director! You’ll have the chance to make a real impact by planning, leading, and supervising awesome camp activities. You’ll need to be a great communicator, super organized, and able to juggle tasks while keeping the summer vibes flowing! Our Summer Day Camp season runs from June 23 to August 26, Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm. If you want to build strong, positive relationships with families and the community and guide your team to success, then this job is for YOU!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Supervise day camp staff to ensure a safe environment, deliver fun and engaging programming, and keep the energy high!

Support your team in being their best selves by sharing information on training, leading team meetings, supporting curriculum planning, running camp activities, and creative problem solving.

Maintain and build meaningful relationships with families and guardians to learn more about their campers and work together to make each day the best it can be.

Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and report any issues to the Program Director.

Oversee camp staffing, records and tidiness; find substitute counselors as needed, and ensure all your ducks are in a row!
WHO YOU ARE:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
-
Strong communicator, able to connect with children, parents, and staff members effectively and thoughtfully.

Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.

Committed to ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in accordance with Washington State licensing requirements.

Experienced with behavior management and SEL (social emotional learning) techniques.

Qualifications
ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?:
-
Completed a minimum of 12 college credits by June 1, 2025.
-
Possess at least two years of experience of staff supervision and working with children.

Valid driver’s license and ability to qualify as an approved driver.

Able and willing to complete all required training upon hiring.
-
Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.
