Effective immediately, the Human Resources Department will accept on-line applications for the position of Nutrition Services Assistant at the Community Learning Center Building. The position works 5.0 hours per day 8 : 45am - 1 : 45pm; student-contact days only. Rate of pay is $18.26 per hour; Independent-Nutrition Services Group.

Job Summary :
Perform a variety of assigned tasks including, preping breakfast andlLunch, serving students, cashiering dishwashing under established rules, policies and procedures.
Job Functions
- Assemble, prepare, and serve food items according to child nutrition guidelines.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, and other items using procedures established in HACCP plans.
- Wash and sanitize tables between breakfast and lunch.
- Work independently with little supervision.
- Clean and handle food properly using procedures established in HACCP plans.
- Monitor meal components and claim meals for reimbursement that adhere to federal guidelines and cashiering for ala carte.
- Utilize safety measures as it pertains to use and operation of equipment in the kitchen including utensils, knives, and other equipment
- Represent a positive public relations environment with customers
- Attend education classes, training classes and or workshops as required
- Other duties as assigned
