- Walk the hallways and stairs continuously ensuring students are in class.
- Monitor front door, bathroom and student passing time ensuring students are adhering to school rules.
- Walk the school grounds and parking lots ensuring students are adhering to school rules.
- Assist students with locker problems as needed.
- Provide cafeteria supervision support during breakfast and lunch periods.
- Search, identify and retain security camera footage as requested by supervisor.
- Be a positive example by modeling respectful behavior and using problem solving strategies.
- Cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with all students, staff, families and community members.
- Adhere to data privacy rules and regulations pertaining to students and staff.
- Adhere to staff and program guidelines and district procedures and policies.
- Demonstrate prompt, regular and reliable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally with employees at all levels in the organization as well as with people outside the organization.
- Ability to work independently with little work direction.
- Ability to understand and follow data privacy rules and regulations related to students and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to perform computer functions, including the use of Google apps, email, Internet navigation and Microsoft Office and other software programs.
- Training in public relations or public safety preferred.
