Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area with efficiency and care.
• Assist servers by providing timely support during busy service periods.
• Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards before serving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth operations during meal service.
• Help with food preparation tasks as required, supporting culinary team efforts.
• Assist in banquet setups and breakdowns for special events when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of food preparation techniques, is a plus.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for food and hospitality, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
