The Sales & Marketing Database Systems Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our Database Systems and related Martech software. This position focuses on enhancing productivity through database management, ensuring data cleanliness, and promoting best practices across the team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, experience with Salesforce configuration in a customized for-profit environment, particularly on the Salesforce Lightning platform, as well as excellent communication skills and a keen desire to learn.
This is a hybrid job that requires in-person office days on Mondays and Wednesdays at The Cliffs support center in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Provide user support, including assistance with log-ins, technical issues, functionality enhancement requests, and managing user access at both object and record levels.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for users of database systems, understanding internal stakeholders' responsibilities and processes to enhance user experience and training.
- Facilitate training sessions for new users and support rollouts of new or updated features and tools.
- Audit and execute security and data integrity initiatives.
- Prepare and execute data uploads and exports.
- Support and train Delegated Admins effectively.
- Develop declarative components in Salesforce to meet specific business needs.
- Update content access to enhance user experience, focusing on page layouts and Lightning Pages for both Desktop and Mobile.
- Collaborate with Developers and Outside Consultants to coordinate timelines and project requirements.
- Aid in transitioning legacy automation logic to a unified automation tool, currently Flow, adhering to best practices.
- Create and maintain new automation processes following industry best standards.
- Develop Automation that aligns with business processes, enhancing data integrity and user experience.
- Create and maintain user-oriented training materials for Sales & Marketing database systems.
- Work alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing Database Systems to document change management processes within the database systems.
- Conduct testing and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new and existing projects.
- Maintain, design, and audit reports and dashboards in Salesforce and DOMO.
- Support the Director of Sales & Marketing Database Systems with additional projects as needed.
- Travel as necessary to support SSP business units.
- Ensure confidentiality across all records within the databases.
- Perform other tasks related to Sales & Marketing Database Systems as required.
