State Street, South HollandJob Type : Technical Professional ExemptJob Number : 00253Department : NursingOpening Date : 02 / 05 / 2025 Description Under the direct supervision of the Dean of Nursing, the Manager is responsible for clinical placement and compliance for the faculty and students for the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and the Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program (BNATP); Responsible of the planning, implementation, evaluation and coordination for the Advanced and Basic Nurse Aide Training Program, including and not limited by the teachings of basic nursing skills through lecture, campus laboratory and supervised clinical experiences. Maintain a current knowledge of state requirements related to the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Requires an extensive working knowledge of IDPH policies and procedures; assumes responsibilities for communication with all regulatory agencies, completion of all forms and documents required by the administrative code. Examples of Duties Secures clinical placement sites and assignments for both the ADN and BNATP in collaboration with the Dean, Department Chair, maintains the clinical affiliation agreements and student and faculty clinical health compliance records.Communicate with Dean, faculty and Clinical liaisons to schedule the needed clinical practicum sites.Prepares spreadsheets to track the academic clinical compliance and clinical history of students in ADN and BNATP classes.Prepare and submit all IDPH requirements, reports, and / or documentation in an accurate and appropriate timeline. Create and maintain all course schedules for BNATP; master calendars; student files including students' experiences, performance, background check, health records and attendance.Develop and revise curriculum BNATP based on IDPH regulations and employment needs including the research and development of new courses.Identifies and interviews prospective part-time instructors; supervise and manage BNATP staff.Establishes and maintains positive contact with students, faculty, adjunct faculty and other school personnel as well as a variety of nursing-related vendors, associations, schools, hospitals and agencies.Assists the Dean in the coordination and submission of program materials for all marketing materials brochures.Maintain cost effectiveness reports and monitor budget guidelines.Attend all program required meetings on and off campus, local and district wide.Conduct Outcomes Assessment activities for BNATP which are program specific and submit annual outcomes assessment report.Knowledge of MS Word, Access and Access and Excel and Castle Branch.Other duties may be assigned. Typical QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing, with minimum two years; experience teaching in BNATP or Associate Degree in Nursing with four (4) years; current teaching experience in BNATP with previous program management experience.Must possess current and active RN license in good standing along with updated CPR and other health compliance.Membership in CNAEA.Completion of the Train-the Trainer Instructor and Approved Educator Certifications with the State of Illinois regardless of the level of education.Experience with advising students, teaching theory content, classroom management, laboratory and clinical instruction and evaluation.Experience with clinical arrangements and agreements.Experience in clinical health compliance management.Flexible scheduling; travel required to clinical site and for CNAEA membership.Strong computer and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.Successfully pass a criminal background check. Supplemental Information PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with current experience teaching in BNATP.STATUS / BENEFITS : This is a regular TPE position for 40 hours a week, 52 weeks per year.
