Position Summary
This position is the representative for Hudson Gardens during on-site events and is responsible for providing accurate information, excellent customer service to vendors, event attendees, patrons and staff. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays is required. This is not an event planning position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attending Event Manager training sessions to learn about each venue.
- Demonstrating a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the services offered and venues at Hudson Gardens.
- Opening and closing venues per event guidelines.
- Directing vendors to designated areas.
- Communicating with all parties to ensure the best possible event for the client.
- Ensuring that Hudson Gardens fulfills all contractual obligations to clients.
- Ensuring that all vendors follow and comply with Hudson Gardens policies and procedures.
- Creates an atmosphere of hospitality through courteous, helpful, patient service to guests and visitors.
- Ensures that vendors clean up and put away equipment at the end of the event.
- Oversee the timing of the events.
- Recognize emergency and dangerous situations by reacting quickly and calmly, administer first aid as needed. Complete Accident/Incident reports.
- Respond to public inquires in a courteous manner; provide information with in the area of assignment, resolve complains in an efficient and timely manner.
- Correct of inform supervisor of any facility hazards, communicate issues/complaints to supervisor as needed.
- Submits nightly reports for each event.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings and orientations.
- Attend work on a regular, reliable and punctual basis, sub for co-workers when available.

Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Must be at least eighteen years of age.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must possess a valid Colorado Drivers License or obtain upon hire and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Work Environment
This position primarily takes place in a moderate to loud, noisy event venue. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 30 lbs. The employee in this position is regularly exposed to outdoor wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat.
