Merchandise Assistant
Part Time $17.05 - 21.70 per hour

South Suburban Parks and Recreation is seeking a Merchandise Assistant to work in our golf shop. We are currently looking for the following hours of operation : mornings, afternoons.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Required to have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Has knowledge of pricing soft goods; apparel, shoes, accessories, headwear, etc.
- Has knowledge of retail sales, receiving merchandise and marketing.
- Will be highly motivated and has the ability to create a welcoming and exciting atmosphere.
- Occasional distribution of merchandise to three separate locations, including transferring within the computer software system.
- Physical inventory count on a quarterly basis.
- Has knowledge of modern office procedures, methods and general office equipment (computer, copier, fax, telephone, calculator, hand held radio etc.).
- Is proficient with applicable computer software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain working relationships with employees and the public.
