Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Manages the day to day operations of the Registration, Cashiering, and PBX areas. Shares managerial responsibility of all areas of registration. Ensures hospital registration procedures are followed 100% of all registration. Communicates with physicians’ offices and other hospital departments to enhance cooperation to accomplish the hospital’s objectives in regard to the full cycle of registering a patient to our facility. Ensures up-front collection goals are met. Monitors and ensures Cashiering procedures are followed appropriately to ensure the security of all cash.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 5 years healthcare Business Office experience required with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in registration.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish required.
5. Ability to travel.
6. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
High School diploma, GED, or Higher Education required.
Some college hours in a related field preferred.
