What You’ll Do:
- Manage patient appointments, greet visitors, and handle a high volume of phone calls with professionalism and care.
- Verify insurance benefits, collect deductibles and co-pays, and ensure accurate patient information entry.
- Provide essential support with medical billing, insurance verification, and patient communication.
- Keep the front office organized, ensuring all patient paperwork is completed and processed efficiently.
- Interact positively with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and other medical staff.
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Basic computer literacy required; experience with EMR (Athena) is a plus.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in a medical front office or medical billing/collections preferred.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation is required, as you may need to cover duties at other office locations when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments and paperwork.
- Verifying insurance benefits and collecting co-payments.
- Maintaining a positive and professional phone demeanor.
- Updating patient accounts and ensuring daily submission of reports.
- Assisting with form letters and patient communication as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Training and Onboarding:
All new hires will participate in a 3-4 week onboarding and training program at our central office on Huebner Road, where you'll receive hands-on learning with experienced team leads.
