About the Position
As an Implant Purchasing Assistant you will be responsible for reconciling financial data with clinical data. With attention to detail, you will ensure that patients are billed for their implants accurately and timely. While healthcare experience is preferred, we are willing to train you - if you are motivated to learn. If you know your way around a spreadsheet, enjoy investigating and solving errors, and want to be a part of culture of service, this may be an ideal position for you.
Primary Duties
- Create purchase orders for implants and related supplies, ensuring that all prices match current contracts
- Log all implant usage and purchases, and release reconciled cases for billing
- Coordinate set up of new implants and related disposables within the purchasing system
- Maintain par levels of hospital owned implants
- Assist with monthly allograft tissue inventory
