South Texas Tack, LLC is seeking to hire an Purchasing Agent to join our team at the store in Brenham, Texas. Job Requirements, Responsibilities, Skills and Knowledge

Purchasing Agent/Assistant Office Manager:

-the purchasing agent manages daily orders and arrival dates

-verifying price and descriptions

-taking recommendation from vendors

-building and obtaining approvals on PO's

-monitoring orders

-expediting orders

- forwarding orders to suppliers

-a good "number sense" and a good talent for estimating calculations reasonably and accurately

-Provides corresponding training's as needed on PO's

-Reports to top management.

-Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments in regards

-Assist office manager with filing documents

-Assist office manager with paying bills

-Assist office manager with inputting data

-Assist office manager matching invoices to packing slips

-Assist office manager issuing credits and using credits

-Assist office manager in maintaining Quick Book accounts

-Assist office manager in mailing bills

-Assist office manager with maintaining and scheduling store activities or needs

  • Experience and Education:

-Bachelor degree
