Financial leadership is a key component of the South Texas Water Authority's success. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, ensuring efficient financial management, accounting, payroll, utility billing, and customer service functions. This executive-level position requires strategic leadership and oversight of complex financial activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, public administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education or vice versa.
- Seven to ten years of progressive financial management experience, including at least 2 years supervising professional staff.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be insurable under the Authority's current carriers.
- Successfully pass a drug/alcohol test, background check, and physical examination.
