Job Title: Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant
Reports To: Director of Administrative Services
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary of Position:
Join South Texas Radiology Group, a physician-led practice of 70 radiologists serving Methodist Healthcare System and South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. Key Responsibilities:
- Procedural Work:
- GI fluoroscopy
- Ultrasound-guided procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis)
- Fluoroscopy-guided procedures (lumbar punctures, joint injections)
- Vascular access and central line placements
- CT-guided bone marrow biopsies
- Patient Care:
- Manage patient consultations, procedures, and follow-up care
- Coordinate with referring physicians and healthcare teams
- Provide patient education and procedure-specific care
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited PA program with a Texas license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong procedural skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication abilities
- Preferred: Experience in interventional radiology or diagnostic imaging
