Job Title: Operational Analyst – Radiology Services
Reports To: Controller
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary of Position:
The Radiology Operational Analyst will proactively analyze physician operations by leveraging information housed in the data warehouse.
Job Responsibilities:
§ Employee must adhere to STRG Policies and Procedures at all times
Provides moderately complex operational support to physician leadership and CEO regarding physician operations.
Gathers information for moderately complex processes, analyzes data and trends, and identifies root cause.
Edit, develop, produce and analyze routine operational reports.
Builds and analyzes reports related to compensation, RVUs, margin, service line/modality, productivity, etc.
Assists with data mining and analytical capability to support decision making and corporate strategy set by the executive team
Support departmental initiatives as requested.
§ Maintain strict confidentiality of patient protected health information as mandated by STRG procedures and HIPAA Privacy, Security, HITECH, and Transactions and Code Sets regulations
§ Perform other duties as required

Experience / Skill Requirements:
· Ideal candidate will have an understanding of physician operations and financial acumen
Prior radiology clinical experience preferred
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask multiple priorities
· Ability to work independently under deadlines
· Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel required
· Cursory understanding of healthcare terminology, including CPT, RVU and charge terminology.
· Minimum of four years’ medical analytics experience required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems or Business Administration; supplemented with one or more courses in current technology. Experience in lieu of formal education may be substituted.
