Qualifications and Attributes:
- Experience with and understanding of High School students and staff
- High school teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with students, families, faculty, and community members.
- Highly visible and actively involved in the school and greater community.
- Deep understanding of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), building staff capacity, instructional improvement, classroom management, and technology integration.
- Demonstrates genuine care for the success and well-being of every student.
- Exercises exceptional judgment and discretion in decision-making.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues and apply strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the principal in leading school operations, instructional programs, and staff development.
- Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families to foster a positive school culture.
- Assisting with staff evaluations, mentoring, and professional growth initiatives.
- Maintaining a visible and approachable presence on campus and at school events.
- Promoting a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and student achievement.
- Ensuring the consistent application of school policies related to behavior, safety, and academic expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A current Oregon Administrative License or eligibility to obtain one
- At least one year in school administration or qualified through an administrative internship program
- Successful teaching and/or leadership experience at the high school level
