POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inquiry Specialist is responsible for timely distribution of student inquiries through our electronic distribution system and maintaining accurate and complete data for inquires provided by third party marketing partners. Support Admissions staff with activity processing for reassigned inquiries. Provide clerical/administrative support as needed. Incumbent must assure that the South University philosophy: quality service, development, growth, involvement, and recognition of employees; sound economic principles; and environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking and expansion is considered in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position.
KEY JOB ELEMENTS:
Organize and process new student inquiries using proprietary software.
Research duplicate inquiries to assure that the inquiry is properly assigned.
Assure that inter-school inquiries for prospects best served by a ground school environment are properly referred or that prospects referred from other schools are assigned to Online Admissions staff on a timely fashion.
Trouble-shoot inquiry and activity problems for the Admissions department.
Generate reports from the student database.
Responsible for transferring and reassigning inquiries between ADA's.
Maintain security and integrity of inquiry distribution process.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required
At least one year of administrative experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills with supervisor and staff positions.
Strong computer literacy skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
