Description
South Valley Academy seeks a qualified History instructor for Middle School. SVA History courses are rooted in the present (students' lived experiences, current events, contemporary issues/debates), explore complexities of the past, and prepare students to be active participants in the future.
An ideal candidate is experienced with differentiating for a wide range of learners, including English Learners, and willing to co-plan/co-teach with a Special Education Teacher in an inclusion setting. Teachers are also advisors at SVA, and candidates with experience building relationships with students and serving as advisors are encouraged to apply.
