At Southall, we are looking for Pool Attendants, Hosts, Pool Servers, and Bartenders to help us as we continue our journey to inspire culinary consciousness showcasing fresh, seasonal fare that highlights the path from seed to plate. Our dining experiences take place just steps from where our ingredients are grown and raised. These team members will be responsible for guiding guests through the menu, anticipating their needs and delivering the highest level of personalized service and attention to our guests enjoying our pool amenity.
Responsibilities:

Provide timely and attentive experience to our guests by being knowledgeable about pool and cocktail menu offerings.

Greet and seat guests to their designated pool chairs or day beds, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.

Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen and bar using the hotels point-of-sales system; coordinate food and beverage timings.

Check completed kitchen orders with the guests original order and transport items to the guest table or lounge chair in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.

Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

Read each table and lounge chair to assess guests needs, ie. Clean Towels, Suntan Lotion, Ice water etc. creating a customized experience for a variety of local guests, international travelers, and inn guests alike.

Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.

Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables and chairs.

Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas of Food & Beverage when needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest
- Must be a team player
- Preferred experience in a luxury resort, exclusive club or high-end spa setting
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
