Join our team of innovative designers as a Drafter! Our growing design team is seeking a skilled and motivated drafter to join us. As a drafter, you'll play a key role in creating and producing innovative designs for a variety of projects.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position with the responsibilities of providing timely and accurate layouts of custom exterior wall panels we manufacture. Our drafters should have experience in reading blueprints and familiarity with commercial exterior finishes (preferable ACM and metal wall panels). An aptitude for architectural, construction, and drafting, as well as a willingness to work hard.

Primary Responsibilities:

Creating shop drawings.
Creating and altering construction sketches.
Ongoing drawing focused collaboration with project managers.
Management and organization of all CAD drawings.
Printing of CAD drawings in various formats and packages and delivering them to the correct contact in a timely manner.
Creating accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.

Essential Job Requirements:

· Seamlessly integrating and working with project managers, design consultants, and sub-contractors, to produce and alter drawings.
Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work from start to finish of the job.
Creating and continually updating project drawings lists.
Printing various formats of drawing sets for project managers and site superintendents.
Keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.
Reviewing and checking drawings for errors, before being sent to project managers.
Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers and project managers when you are not 100% certain of something.
Create, edit, and update standard details for use in projects.
Other duties as assigned.
