Tree Climber

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in climbing techniques and equipment operation. This role involves working at heights to perform tree trimming, pruning, and care, ensuring the health and aesthetics of trees in various environments. A strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using climbing techniques and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks safely for high-access tree care tasks.
• Maintain and care for trees through proper techniques to promote healthy growth.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care and garden upkeep as needed.
• Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower branches and debris during tree work.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition, including bucket trucks and climbing gear.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize risks while working at heights or with heavy machinery.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding job progress and any concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tree care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and rigging systems.
• Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper trimming techniques.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
• Certification in arboriculture or related fields is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
