Laundry Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel laundry operations or dry cleaning services, with a strong commitment to cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of laundry items including linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents used in the laundering process.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel laundry operations or dry cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads as needed.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
