We seek a full-time X-Ray Operator (limited scope) for our Edina and Eden Prairie clinics. Hours available include day shift (8am-5pm), some weekday evenings until 9pm, and rotating Saturday morning (8am-12pm). Flexibility to work at our Burnsville clinic on occasion is required. The RT/X-Ray Operator provides and supports quality patient care through a variety of day-to-day functions from x-ray to rooming.
X-Ray Responsibilities:
- prepares patients for radiology procedures ensuring safety of self and patient/parent
- uses technique chart for uniformity in patient care and good diagnostic radiographs
- accurately documents completed studies and prepares digital images for send out
- assists with rooming function when not working x-ray to include: comprehensive intake, vitals, and hearing & vision screens for well exams
- patient and family education
- cleaning and stocking clinic rooms
X-Ray Qualifications & Skills:
- successful completion of state of MN X-Ray Operators Exam
- knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform x-ray testing
- knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards and standards when working with x-ray equipment
- experience with electronic medical records; charting and charging
- ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- provide excellent customer service while working efficiently with busy physician schedules
- must work well with children and families with diverse backgrounds and medical complexities
