Performs advanced and specialized nursing tasks, providing patient care and performing certain medical functions within the scope of the APP. Possesses a strong foundation in evidence based practice and education and accepts the responsibility for providing an environment of safe quality care. Demonstrates an advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competence, sound clinical judgment and professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills.
