- Job Summary :
- The Quality Management and Accreditation Manager supports the Quality Management and Accreditation Director in overseeing the effective operations of the Quality Management and Accreditation Division. This role encompasses various aspects including quality, risk, patient safety, core measures, data analysis, regulatory and accreditation compliance, and process improvements within the Consortium.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the management and oversight of quality, risk, patient safety, core measures, data analysis, and process improvements.
- Work closely with Administration, Providers, and Staff to promote awareness of quality and patient safety.
- Facilitate improvement efforts across all areas.
- Manage significant clinical events investigations and reporting.
- Coordinate regulatory surveys and ensure compliance.
- Facilitate education and training on quality and safety.
- Chair committees and teams focused on quality and performance improvement.
- Conduct process reviews and oversee PI Data.
- Serve as the expert for performance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervisory Responsibilities :
- This position does require supervisory responsibilities.
- Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (preferred).
- 4-6 years of relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified in Infection Control (CIC), or similar certification obtained within a year.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience monitoring quality and regulatory requirements, planning, and coordinating process changes.
