Agriculture Ed Teacher, CTE (1.0 FTE)
Goodhue Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time High School Agriculture Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
MN Agriculture Ed teaching license is preferred. Other teacher licensure will be considered with appropriate experience.
Position:
The position would include teaching classes such as Animal Science, Plant Science, Food Science, MN Wildlife, and WBL to high school students with a couple of introductory courses for middle school students. Future courses could be adapted to meet the needs of the applicant and department.
Goodhue Public Schools has a strong agriculture department and FFA program and the desired candidate would serve as the FFA chapter adviser. The Goodhue FFA has approximately 100 members each year, is a three-star chapter. The Goodhue FFA chapter participates heavily in CDE and LDE competitions, regionally and at the state level. Goodhue School has outstanding community and business support in advancing Agriculture Education with well-established relationships.

Goodhue Schools has completed a remodel/new construction project and has many new spaces and classroom furniture. New spaces include classrooms, cafeteria, offices, a new gym, and a walking track. Goodhue Schools is a rural K-12 school that is home to approximately 750 students with increasing enrollment. Goodhue is located between Rochester and the Twin Cities. The Goodhue School Community is very welcoming and provides a tremendous work environment and support for the school. Salary Range for this position is $47,000-$80,031.
