Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborates with staff, students, and families to ensure school policies are followed.

2. Works with administration and office staff in the area of attendance and student/family support.
3. Maintains records/communicates in the areas of student discipline and attendance.
4. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere.
5. Identifies the needs of students in both general and special education and develops strategies for individual needs.
6. Communicates regularly with all stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and creating action plans based around student attendance.
2. Be the primary staff member in the area of student discipline and create plans/systems to ensure success.
3. Collaboration with/coach staff in implementing plans and procedures to ensure a positive learning environment.
4. Building relationships with staff and students.
5. Collaborate with the building principal, school counselor and other staff members to help further building and district-wide goals.
6. Service on the building PBIS Team.
7. Maintain data systems that monitor student discipline and attendance.
8. A willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing plans and situations.
9. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Demonstrated ability to apply appropriate skills in performing daily routines.
2. Demonstrated ability to operate a computer, software and necessary technology.
3. Ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community.
