Job Title: Full-time (1.0 FTE) Earth Science and/or Physical Science Teacher – High School
Position Summary: A full time (1.0 FTE) Earth Science and/or Physical Science teacher at Faribault High School commencing with the 2025-2026 school year on August 25, 2025. This teaching assignment will include Integrated Science and other science electives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher and valid Minnesota Teaching License (Tier 1, 2, 3, or 4). Science licensure preferred. Must be willing to teach in a multi-person department as a team player. Must be willing to teach to all learning styles including English Learners. Collaboration with grade level and/or departmental team, special education team and specialists to develop a positive learning environment. Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents. Support and follow School Board policies and procedures. Be a positive and contributing member of our professional community.
Licensure: Valid Minnesota Teaching License (Tier 1, 2, 3, or 4). Earth Science, Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry, Life Science with 5-8 endorsement preferred, or willingness to obtain a special permission license issued by PELSB.
