Job Summary: Independent School District #255 Pine Island is seeking a full time paraprofessional that would substitute when a paraprofessional is absent. The role would include time working with students between the grades of preschool to 12th grade and would take place at multiple school buildings. This role would spend a majority of their day assisting the students who receive special education services, supervising lunch, and supervising recess. This position would also work directly with the classroom teachers and special education staff.
Candidates must meet qualifications in ONE of the following areas:
1) Minimum of 60 semester credits from institute of higher education
2) Hold an Associate’s degree
3) Obtained a passing score on ParaPro assessment
