Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct support to clients and their families, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral health.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
- Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on ABA techniques and strategies for working with individuals with autism and other disabilities.
- Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical record management.
- Excellent patient assessment skills, with the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
