Key Responsibilities
- Sell lumber and related materials to customers who visit our retail showroom.
- Provide support and assistance to DIY customers to ensure they find the right products for their projects.
- Handle telephone inquiries and respond to customer emails as necessary.
- Coordinate customer deliveries to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Create accurate sales tickets and enter all relevant information into our computer system.
- Operate a cash register and reconcile daily transactions.
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and collaborate with purchasing to ensure adequate inventory in the stockroom.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and safe for customers.
