Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain drill rigs in various construction and drilling environments.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met.
- Interpret project blueprints and specifications to execute drilling operations accurately and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate drilling schedules and tasks.
- Monitor drill performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal efficiency and production rates.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating drill rigs in a construction or related environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations in drilling operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and operate heavy equipment.
