Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of drilled shaft projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Direct supervision of field personnel and subcontractors, maintaining high morale and productivity on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding project updates and concerns.
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure that all activities align with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent, preferably with a focus on drilled shaft or foundation work.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and client relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in software related to construction management is a plus.
