We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. If you have a minimum of 1 years of grooming experience, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and are dedicated to providing high-quality care for dogs, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
Grooming Services : Perform full-service grooming for dogs, including baths, haircuts, nail trims, and other grooming needs, while ensuring each dog’s comfort and safety.
Coat Evaluation : Assess different coat types (short, long, curly, etc.) to determine the best grooming approach and set realistic expectations with pet owners for each appointment.
Check-In & Grooming Prep : Check in dogs for grooming appointments, assess their coats, and prepare them for grooming by brushing, detangling, and other pre-grooming tasks.
Recommendations & Upselling : Provide recommendations for grooming products and services, including specialty shampoos, conditioners, and add-on treatments, while helping to upsell services to enhance the customer experience.
Efficient Grooming : Complete grooming services within a 3-4 hour window, ensuring quality results while maintaining efficiency and productivity.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with other groomers, bathers, and staff to maintain a positive and efficient workflow and ensure a great client experience.
Requirements :
Minimum 1 years of experience in dog grooming, with proven expertise in handling a variety of coat types and dog breeds.
Availability to work one weekend day per week.
Strong ability to assess coat conditions and determine appropriate grooming services.
Ability to check in dogs and communicate effectively with pet owners to set grooming expectations.
Comfortable working independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
Ability to complete grooming services efficiently within a 3–4-hour timeframe.
Ability to recommend products and upsell services based on clients' needs and dogs' grooming requirements.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and ensure a great grooming experience.
Additional Skills :
Expertise in different grooming techniques and products.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A calm, patient demeanor when handling dogs, especially those with special needs or anxious temperaments.
