Southeast Community Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our outpatient care team plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education.
In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management. We are willing to train the right person!
This is a full-time position with availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.

- Compensation: $14 - $17/hour, based on experience and skillset

Minimum Qualifications and Skillset:
- 1 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting desired
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Proper restraint technique
- Obtain vital signs
- Exam room/DVM assistant
- Scribe
- Exceptional communication skills
