What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor, Dental Assisting (2024-2025) - PTT position at Southeast Community College?
Under the general supervision of the Dean and the Program Chair, the Adjunct Instructor will instruct students in various courses in the classroom (whether face-to-face or online), in a laboratory or clinical setting.The instructor may serve as a coordinator for a group of courses or be the lead instructor for a course or courses within the program.The instructor develops and implements the course syllabus according to the Program curriculum plan and SCC policies in cooperation with other faculty.Minimum Qualifications
- Current Certified Dental Assistant with two (2) year's work experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Demonstrate yearly progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree must be completed within two (2) years of hire.Desired Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree in Allied Health or related field.
- Teaching experience in post-secondary education.
