Essential Functions

responsibilities may include but are not limited to
- Assisting with player recruitment
- Scouting and viewing films of upcoming games
- Driving vans to away games
- Advising student-athletes in their pursuit of athletic goals
- Teaching basic and complicated skills
- Working with the media
- Attendance at both games and practices
- Development of strength and conditioning for practice season
- Supervising the gym, or other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to (50) fifty pounds for short distances, and move tables, chairs, and media equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing, in person, and on the phone.
- Ability to use basic computer skills.
- The individual must possess the above skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- High School diploma
- Ability to qualify for auto insurance coverage
- Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver's License.
- Three (3) years experience as an assistant coach at a club, a secondary or post-secondary institution.
