What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motorcycle Range Aide position at Southeast Community College?
Motorcycle Range Aide works with the Director of Traffic Safety & Licensing, and the Motorcycle Rider Coaches to ensure the motorcycles are mechanically safe and ready for the Motorcycle Safety Beginner Riders Class.
Class runs every weekend beginning April to mid-October.
This class has a strong emphasis on rider safety and risk management.

Essential Functions
- Ensure supplies are available to students and instructors, this includes motorcycles, helmets, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, etc.
- Bring the ice water to the range.
- Assist instructors as needed, moving cones, etc.
- Keep all of the bikes clean & in good working order. Every class each bike is to be inspected using T-CLOC.
- Bikes need to be returned to storage at the end of the day.
- Sunday: clean up the range, move barrels to the front of the Physical Plant building, and remove trash.
- Fuel the motorcycles and put them in storage.
- High School Education or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with Motorcycles.
- Current Valid motorcycle license.
