Fleet Coordinator Job Description
Southeast Connections LLC is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing administrative, technical, and analytical tasks related to fleet asset management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in automated report programming using Microsoft Excel, conducting trend/data analysis and providing reports, as well as general fleet management. A strong understanding of sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records for each asset, including registrations, insurance, and safety inspections.
- Evaluate and ensure timely renewal of permits and licenses as required by FMCSA (DOT, MCS-150, UCR).
- Process tag and title applications, including I-2290, IRP, Fleet Perm, PT trailer tags, replacement plates, and annual renewals.
- Analyze data on fleet performance, maintenance costs, fuel usage, and other key metrics, as needed.
- Complete asset intake by assigning new asset numbers, maintaining a database of pictures and documents, and setting maintenance schedules.
- Oversee the asset management system and ensure its proper function and use in the field.
- Manage all asset disposals and auctions with the contractual auction company.
