1.
Responsible for the administrative, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and maintaining budgets for radiology across the multiple locations.
2.
Manages operations and personnel throughout the various Medical Imaging locations / modalities, which includes CT, MRI, NM, US, Diagnostic, Interventional, Mammography, Radiology Nursing, and all support staff.
3.
Serves as a resource for interpretation, education, and implementation of policies and procedures.
4.
Investigates patient, family, physician, nursing, and/or hospital staff complaints and responds in a timely manner.
5.
Responsible for adhering to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the technical and clinical practice of radiology.
6.
Responsible for team member coaching on performance, overseeing performance reviews, and overall staff morale.
7.
Provides oversight for applicable modality ACR accreditation, application, and compliance.
8.
Provides ongoing education to team members to ensure productivity and knowledge of the overall processes are maintained and improved.
9.
Attends and participates in monthly team member meetings.
10.
Active in improving patient satisfaction by participating in performance improvement activities.
11.
Helps monitor and control maintenance and operating supply expenses.
12.
Monitors daily tasks of the department including staff facilitation of schedules, workflow processes, and productivity of clinical staff.
13.
Responsible for the overall quality of department and modalities listed above.
