WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform a variety of duties in the care and treatment of patients, sets up and operates patient care equipment, and provides specialized assistance to the professional staff in caring and treating patients.
BACKGROUND:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Experience as a nursing assistant, Medical Assistant, PCA, Phlebotomist, or equivalent experience required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, and/or EKG/Phlebotomy certification.
- American Heart Association BLS required within first week of orientation and maintained throughout employment.
