What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Technician- forklift position at Southeast Handling Systems?
Southeast Handling Systems is seeking qualified Field Service Technicians to work on all types of forklifts and related material handling equipment.
Benefits/Pay:
- Benefits kick in 30 days from hire date-full medical, dental, vision, 401k , etc.
- Pay is based on Experience. You are paid hourly NOT flat rate.
- You are paid bi-weekly on Wednesdays
Schedule/Work Setting:
- Monday-Friday 1st shift hours (typical start time 7am)
- OT is offered and encouraged!
- Outdoor work is required
- On the road-commuting to different customers within assigned territory
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide the best possible service, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair for customer and company equipment.
- Travel to and work in customer facilities, interacting and communicating with the customers to keep their equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Technicians are provided with company vehicles; therefore, a clean driving record and active driver's license is required
*The following experience may be relevant: automotive, diesel, industrial machinery, heavy equipment, or forklift mechanic/technician*
