Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support NIH Stroke Certification State License Verification Job Details Travel / Contract position for a Registered Nurse in a Urology Unit at Southeast Health Medical Center. 1-2 years of experience required, with strong skills in high acuity and proficiency with insulin and heparin drips. 36 or 48 hours per week available, with orientations every other Monday. Contracts end on a Tuesday due to a Wednesday-Tuesday pay period. New travelers are welcome. Job Requirements Must have a compact or Alabama license active and in good standing. BLS certification required. NIH Stroke Certification required, to be completed after compliance and clearance for start. Hard deadline for compliance is 1 week prior to start. COVID vaccination required unless a documented religious or medical exemption is provided. Flu shot required or a documented religious or medical exemption. Schedule Information 36 or 48 hours per week available. Orientations are every other Monday. Contracts will end on a Tuesday. Unit Specific Information All RNs must be comfortable with high acuity and a 1 : 6 or 1 : 7 patient ratio. Additional Details Candidates must bring a driver's license that matches the name on their RN license. Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility. Must provide Social Security Card or confirm last four digits of SSN in notes.
