Job Details

  • Travel / Contract position for a Registered Nurse in a Urology Unit at Southeast Health Medical Center.
  • 1-2 years of experience required, with a strong background in high acuity nursing and proficiency in insulin and heparin drips.
  • Patient ratios of 1 : 6 or 1 : 7 are expected.
  • Orientation occurs every other Monday, with contracts ending on a Tuesday due to the facility's pay period.

    • Job Requirements

  • Active and in good standing Alabama or compact state nursing license required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • NIH Stroke Certification required, to be completed through the facility after compliance is met.
  • Hard deadline for compliance is 1 week prior to start.

    • Schedule Information

  • 36 or 48 hours per week are acceptable.
  • EOW (every other weekend) required, with block booking available except on holidays.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Candidates must be comfortable with high acuity and a 1 : 6 or 1 : 7 patient ratio.

    • Additional Details

  • COVID vaccination required unless a documented religious or medical exemption is provided.
  • Flu shot required or a documented religious or medical exemption is needed.
